Terms & Conditions of Sale / Hire of Equipment

References to terms used:
“Us or “We” refers to Occasions Perfected (The Business)
“You”, “Your”, “Customer”, or “Client” refers to the purchaser of the goods / services.

1. Financial – Payments, deposits & balances:
1.1 An agreed deposit will be required to secure your event set up date into our diary. This will be non-refundable, unless we cannot meet your request for any reason.
1.2 In the unlikely event that the booking must be cancelled by us, then a full refund will be paid.
1.3 Any financial balance outstanding will need to be paid in full, at least 1 week prior to the event set-up date.
1.4 Upon making the payment, you are accepting our terms and conditions.

2. Equipment – Hire
2.1 The client assumes responsibility and will be liable for any damages or cost of repairs to our hired equipment during the event. Any damages must be reported without delay.

3. Website & Media
3.1 All images featured on our website and social media are our own. Many of the designs are bespoke and can therefore vary slightly between the image shown. Our aim is to ensure that you are happy with your design.

4. Delivery & Venue
4.1 Whilst we are dedicated and committed to arrive in good time for all our bookings, we cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen delays or circumstances beyond our control. We will make contact on the number you provide should any problem occur.
4.2 If the event is outdoors, we cannot be held responsible for balloons being damaged, as a result of changing weather conditions. We always use the best quality branded balloons to minimise this happening. Once we have left the venue, the balloons and equipment are outside of our control and therefore we cannot be held liable for damages caused to or by balloons once the delivery has been made and display set up complete.
4.3 We request that access to the venue is available for the time arranged, so we can set up in good time, as we cannot be held responsible for any delays in set up due to restricted venue access.

5. Balloon Safety Information
5.1 Burst balloons can cause a choking hazard. Always supervise children and pets around balloons and ensure any deflated or burst balloons are correctly discarded. Balloons often contain latex which can cause an allergic reaction. Helium is not toxic or flammable, however inhaling of helium can result in loss of consciousness due to insufficient oxygen.
